Welcome
to this Unofficial website of the FIFA World Cup 2006.
So whether
you want to know Wayne Rooney's latest medical news (yawn!)
or how many "knock knock" jokes the Angolan goalkeeper
can tell in a minute, then this is the site for you. Not only that,
but if,
like me, you feel you have too much spare time on your hands, then
feel free to write something (anything, please.... there's so much
space to fill with nonsense, and so little time) I don't care if
you're only 6 and still write with one of those massive pencils,
get scribbling.
In fact, if you're 6 and still use one of those giant pencils then
you're probably best placed to give us the inside track on Theo Walcott*.
So there we go. It's already been a strange journey. The hopes for
England this summer were so high and then an injury to Rooney and
half the country has given up hope before we've even started. And
we haven't
even had any Sunday tabloid "Exclusive England Scandal" stories
come out yet - but there's still time yet for the idiots in
the press to derail our best chance of lifting the trophy in
40 years.
Let's
hope
they save their tales of shame until after the tournament!
As well
as all our news and views on the happenings in germany, we've
also carefully selected a few offers we think may interest you, 'cos
we're nice like that:
MBNA
England Credit card - apply today and receive a free England shirt
Gamebookers: Free World cup shirt with any "tournament
outright" bet over £30
Fantasy Football League: Win a whole range of fantastic
prizes - free entry
*Calling England's
latest teen prodigy Theo Walnut is not in any way funny. If anyone
on this site tries to call
him that they will be sent to Coventry. And bought a season ticket.**
And forced to go to every game next season. So there.
** No Coventry City
season tickets are actually on offer. So still no calling him Theo
Walnut. Thanks.
